First day back...

We were ready nice & early this morning with enough time to pause out the front to take a few snaps to remember this day as the first of the last year as a primary student.

Erin looks quite pensive but mostly she was just bored with the photo shoot.

It all turned ugly when we left the house, got caught up in peak hour traffic Bacchus Marsh style, crawled along behind a bus or two & had to stop at a brand new crossing complete with lollipop lady.
So Erin dashed into her new classroom while I tried to find a parking spot (Ha!) by the time I found the room, she was settled in & the class were ready to start work. She gave me a little wave through the window & I was dismissed.
So much for a momentous occasion! I suppose there will be other milestones & firsts & lasts during this year.

This afternoon she says she had a good day, likes her new teacher & has found a new friend (this girl also catches our bus home so maybe Erin will travel with her instead of the 3km walk)
