M is for...

many things but today it is for....molar.

Hayley is off to a themed 21st party, come as something beginning with the letter M (Melanie's party)

She had worked some magic with some polystyrene, material and stuffing.

It even came with a filling

And was modelled on this acrylic tooth made in the clinic (looks too real for me)

Depending on the success of her costume tonight she might wear it in the upcoming Djerriwarrh festival as she has ended up on the organising committee. I think it looks like a tooth but I know what its meant to be.

I had a lovely day yesterday, in my tunic,
We ended up (window) shopping in Armadale & Fitzroy in lots of groovy, expensive places and had a celebrety sighting of Josh & Jenna off  'The Block'. Ness got some bathers for her soon to be trip to Hayman Island. I ended up with a light dress for when I'm lazing about on my summer holiday. I had to put it at the very back of the cupboard for today was quite chilly.

It was a cold start but I rugged up & went down to the theatre to do some more painting. Only 2 weeks til curtains up & still a lot of work to do. Erin was pleased to get into one of her costumes today and it sounded really good while I was painting enchanted objects.

March roundup...

Clearing off the camera for March has revealed very little. Not many photos taken and the best of I've already shared except for these...

the Grasshopper & Teacher haven't been on a ride together for quite some time

Cal has improved dramaticallywith all the experience he is getting. He has enrolled in the Vic Roads pilot program to give newly licensed young riders more skills with a defensive riding day. He be able to show the Boy Racer Snr a thing or too.

And here are the big teeth Hayley got from trade school

They are really big and have the aspects labelled accordingly

I had to put my phone in to get some perspective

All in all life is pretty boring stable & uneventful compared to one friend who is about to embark on 6 weeks of radiotherapy and another who is camping inside as she has pulled out her entire kitchen in readiness for the new installation after the flood damage 12 months ago.

Happy St V's day...

although it looks more like Halloween in our house than a day for romance.

Hayley had bought home all manner of things since starting her apprenticeship proper. This is her actual teeth! Just look how straight they are, no orthodontic involvement at all (the other 2 not so lucky)

I can't wait to show you the other toothy play things she has, they look like the elephant molars that are on display at the Melbourne Zoo.
