I saw the dermatologist today as a follow up to last years visit to the skin clinic. As quick as you can say 'that lesion looks suspicious' she had whipped out some local anaesthetic & was jabbing my nose to take a biopsy.
Local anaesthetic is terrific stuff once it starts working but it sure does make your eyes water (& swear silently to yourself) as it goes in. I'll get the result next week & we'll know what has to be done. I'm not looking forward to more surgery, I'm quite fond of patchwork patterns just not on my face.
